LIVING
YOUR STRENGTHS When you
discover your talents, you begin to discover your calling. When
you develop your talents into strengths and apply those strengths, you
fulfill your calling. Consider the calling of Mother Teresa.
Her calling to work among the poorest of the poor in Calcutta,
India, made her one of the most revered religious
figures of the 20th century. Her humility, generosity, and courage
were remarkable: so was her sense of calling: "What I do you cannot
do; but what you do, I cannot do. The needs are great, and none of us,
including me, ever do great things. But we can all do small things, with
great love, and together we can do something wonderful." In
a 2004 Gallup
poll, 44% of Americans said they have a calling. Do you have a
calling? What is that calling? Do you want to discover and
fulfill your calling using your God given talents?
