Sacraments
Baptisms:
Expecting parents or parents presenting
their first child for Baptism are required to attend the Parents
Baptism Class scheduled the second Sunday at 1:00 pm in March, June,
August, and December. The Sacrament of Baptism is administered
the third Sunday of each month except during Advent and Lent at 1:00
p.m.. To register for the sacrament or class, contact the Parish
Office (419-782-7121). At least one Godparent must be a
practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church. We
encourage first time expectant parents to attend a Baptism class
before the birth of your baby.
First Eucharist:
First Eucharist (First Communion) is a
two-year preparation program which students enter in their first grade
year. Classes are held on Wednesday nights at Holy Cross School. Please contact Janice
Elliott in the Parish Office at 419-782-7121 for more information or to
register.
First Sacrament of Reconciliation (First
Penance, First Confession) is celebrated after the first year of
preparation classes for First Eucharist. See First Eucharist
preparation above. Please

information or to register.
Confession Schedule - Saturday 4:15 to 4:45 pm. Anytime upon request or by
appointment.
Confirmation:
Confirmation preparation includes a
two-year program which students enter in their eighth grade year.
Classes are held on Wednesday nights. Please contact Janice Elliott
in the Parish Office at 419-782-7121 for more information or to
register.
Marriage:
Please arrange at the Parish Office
(419-782-7121) at least ten months in advance in order to complete the
Marriage Preparation requirements.
