taken to the Catholic Food Pantry at St. Mary’s, where volunteers
help in the distribution of these foods.

- Prison Ministry
Don and Clara Meyer
- Volunteers serve at CCNO. As
teams we conduct inter-denominational services each Thursday
evening, sharing prayer and scripture. Some volunteers also
visit the incarcerated one-on-one as a ministering presence.
- Regular meeting of volunteers at Gene
Smart Bldg., Defiance, every other month at 7:00 p.m. Catholic
volunteers serve at least 40 hours yearly.

- Boy Scouts
Ron Elliott
- A parish chartered group, which
assists male youth in development of good morals, religious and
civic mindedness and personal integrity. Cub Scouts meet during
school year on Mondays from 6:30-7:30 in the Church Hall. Boy
Scouts meet each Monday throughout the year from 7:00-8:30 in the
Church Hall. Male and female volunteers help in a variety of
ways.
-
- Sunday Coffee & Donuts
Deb Potter
- We gather after 8:30 Sunday Mass for
food, fun and fellowship. We offer donuts, coffee, milk and
juice. It’s a chance to extend the Sunday liturgy by
socializing and having some light refreshment. Usually a family
will host, which means picking up the food, getting the coffee
brewed, serving and tending to details. Hosting involves
3-4 times from Sept-May.
