- Boy Scouts
Ron Elliott
- A parish chartered group, which assists
male youth in development of good morals, religious and civic
mindedness and personal integrity. Cub Scouts meet during school
year on Mondays from 6:30-7:30 in the Church Hall. Boy Scouts
meet each Monday throughout the year from 7:00-8:30 in the Church
Hall. Male and female volunteers help in a variety of ways.

- Rite of Christian Initiation of
Adults Connie Moffitt
- Volunteers comprise a team to support
those men and women interested in becoming members of the Catholic
Church. They meet for instruction and sharing each Thursday
evening at 7:00-9:00 from October until Easter.

- Scripture Study –Monday Evening
Nick Varano
- Fun and knowledge on the upcoming Sunday
readings. We have a commentary to go with the readings. We
read the passage and then talk about the things that impressed
us. We meet each Monday evening at 7:00 from September to May.

- Scripture Study- Sunday Morning
Belinda Winkler
- A group meets on various Sunday mornings
from 11:15-12:45 to study and share reflections on a particular book
of the Bible, using a published scripture study program.

- Christ Renews His Parish (women)
Connie Moffitt
- Women interested in developing their
spiritual lives and sharing with other women during a retreat weekend,
which they prepare, meetings are regularly throughout the year on
Monday evenings.

- Men's Renewal of the Heart
George Westrick
- Christian Men’s group that meets in
individual’s homes to study the scriptures and keep the Lord
active in their lives, to help spread God’s Word in the Parish
Community. They also sponsor an annual retreat.

- Engaged Couple's Retreat
Don and Clara Meyer
- Presentations are given by married
couples in the Spring and Fall to give couples planning marriage an
opportunity to talk honestly about their prospective life together,
their strengths, weaknesses, goals, attitudes about money, sex,
children, and roles in church and society.

of the parish.

of Faith provides the catechetical foundation on which every other
religious education experience in the parish is built.

of Faith is designed to help us learn and grow in our understanding of
what it means to be a Catholic Christian in our homes, in the church,
in the Defiance community and in the world.
