- March For Life
- Here are some of the pictures taken at our pro life "March for
Life" in Defiance. It was estimated there were 400-500 people
there supporting life and praying to end the killing of babies within
the womb. Rick Small did a great job of announcing each speaker.
Deacon Jeff Mayer started with a prayer/talk at the Courthouse, then
Ann Barrick spoke. We then went to the Eagles parking lot where Pastor
Lurhing from St John Lutheran Church spoke, then Ellen Upp. We
then end at the "Monument to the Unborn" at St John Catholic
Church with Kelly Shininger talking, then the song "He's got the
whole world in His Hands," led by Jim Zipfel. The march
ended with a talk/prayer by Fr Dan Borgelt. We had the Mass and Our
Lord was exposed until 6pm ending with Benediction. We pray babies'
lives were saved and will be saved through our prayers and sacrifices.
